Microsoft Band 2 helps you get insights on your personal fitness data and guide to wellness via Microsoft Health Web Dashboard. The app allows you to view, analyze, and export your data, or share it with other fitness apps. You can export the data collected by Health Dashboard by simply logging in your Microsoft account and choosing your profile picture in the upper right corner where you can find the option “Export your data”.
This way you can track your “bests” for activities like Run, Exercise, Bike, etc so you can make another attempt to beat the previous record. This particularly helps you understand what you need to do next to improve the overall quality of your health.
Microsoft Health Web Dashboard
Open Microsoft Edge browser on your computer, go to the Microsoft Health web dashboard and sign in using your Microsoft account.
Your browser should display the Microsoft Health web dashboard home screen. Here, you can view a daily summary of your activity captured with your Band. In the example below.
For getting monthly information about various categories, click the “See Observations” hyperlink next to a category. If you would like to access data from different months, click the calendar icon at the top of the page.
In addition, you can click on the shaded column on the left of the screen to get information on Exercise, Guided Workouts (from the Microsoft Band), check our previous tutorial for more information. That is it!

To learn how to export your data into an Excel spreadsheet do the following.
Select your name appearing in the upper right corner of the dashboard and select ‘Export your Data’ option from the drop-down list.
Next, select the following
- Range
- Data Categories
- File Format.
When done, use the menu that appears at the bottom of the screen to choose whether to open or save the file.
